Thank you for your reply and I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

For the sake of clarity while I founded this campaign and we’re almost a decade in, I need to be clear that the points I raise time-and-again, are not just my views but the views and beliefs of 1,200 residents of Stanwell Moor who live directly under the Southern Runway and are impacted by unacceptable aircraft-noise, every single day, every 45-seconds, of every week and month, 365 days of every year.

As I said in my previous email, I didn’t believe we would ever need to go public again, given we were promised WPOZ by Heathrow directors in 2020.

We should have received the much publicised World-Beating compensation by now for residents who want to leave, and we should be working toward protecting the most airport-blighted community within the Heathrow perimeter for those who choose to remain.

Stanwell Moor residents need this guarantee and I will do ”whatever it takes” to ensure that at least we have parity with communities that HAL has (already compensated). Most of whom are currently not impacted by the proposed airport expansion and will not be for another 8-years.

This cannot simply be pushed into the long-grass, as part of a multi-year process.
The residents of Stanwell Moor deserve some action now!
It is CLEAR that a Heathrow director promised us WPOZ.
It is CLEAR that JHK’s excuse for not including Stanwell Moor in the WPOZ has no credibility.
It is CLEAR the new taxiway on the existing Northern Runway will create a TEN-FOLD daily increase in NEW NOISE for our village.

It is CLEAR that every time Heathrow Airport has expanded, Stanwell Moor has experienced NEW NOISE!

It is crystal-clear that EVERY STAKEHOLDER apart from Heathrow Airport it seems, believes Stanwell Moor should have been “first community” on the list when either CPZ or WPOZ was announced.

Nigel, I’m pleased you’re going to be setting out your stall to Government but we seek a substantive response before you present your third runway proposal, which I’m informed will be in the next three or four weeks.

What was previously promised by HAL has to go hand-in-hand with whatever is being presented to the Ministry. – Or how can we ever be able to believe anything that Heathrow says?

We are ready to make the “forgotten village” HAL refuses to compensate a national issue.

I am ready to reignite and publicise once more, the unfairness of this David and Goliath struggle and have several articles ready to land with local and regional media outlets.

We will have questions asked of the Transport Minister in the House about the “Forgotten Village”.

However why not work to make progress without further action and begin to resolve some of the issues beginning with:

INSULATION
Given the Pilot 2, Zone 3 West (Stanwell Moor) has a time window, it is imperative that we have prompt resolution. I am asking for an urgent announcement from Heathrow that every home in Stanwell Moor is to be included in the Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme (QNS) and Residential Insulation Scheme [RIS].

Clearly we are running out of time to do something positive for Stanwell Moor.
Do not prevaricate, take action. Do not offer more suggestions but instead do the right thing and announce that all homes in the village are eligible.

Nigel I would respectfully suggest that it is time to be seen to be working with the community to resolve historical errors. Be mindful not only National media or Local government are questioning how HAL does business, or how they continue to treat their nearest neighbour. The Government will too.

My concern is simple (61) mainly pensioner homes on this small community have been left out of the QNS/RIS based on inaccurate desktop modelling that belies the TRUTH!

Nigel I believe you could advise HAL directors on the benefits of making this a fast-tracked, rubber-stamped, PR win!

The truth is every resident in Stanwell Moor is impacted by aircraft noise that is well-in-excess of what’s allowed by Government. – The only thing Heathrow has to do is act on it!
