As the Lead Councillor at the time, heading Spelthorne Councils Airport Team, we had bi-lateral meetings with the Heathrow CEO, John Holland-Kaye and his team.
I asked John at one of those meetings was the third runway 'off-the-table' for a generation, or not. John Holland-Kaye’s position was, while it’s accepted there would be delays due to the Covid pandemic that the third-runway and the general expansion of Heathrow Airport was critical for the UK economy.
My position was, as soon as this happens on behalf of the people of Stanwell Moor, who should have been compensated decades ago. - Who do not accept his ‘new noise’ reason for not including Stanwell Moor in the WPOZ - That the fight would be back on and I will make sure - That WE WIN!
On the 17th July 2019 over "500 residents marched with me" and took over yet another meaningless Heathrow event in our village hall that was arranged to dupe us into submission.
I took to the stage that day and told Heathrow Airport on behalf of Stanwelll Moor residents that we DO NOT ACCEPT their attempts to trick us or spread misinformation any longer and that inclusion into the Wider Property Offer Zone is what we want and what we deserve.

At the same meeting on the 17th of July the residents of Stanwell Moor confronted Rob Gray, Director of Expansion for Heathrow Airport and they didn't hold back.
Mr Gray was outed as a liar and soon after he lost his job and his team were disbanded.
I continue that fight, I haven't waned from it and I have no intention of giving up until we have what we deserve. - We MUST keep going!
