Dear All,
This is a further update on where we are regarding the Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme [QNSS] and our campaign for the Excluded 10% of our residents to be included in the Residential Insulation Scheme [RIS].
I have advised the Heathrow hierarchy including, Community Director Becky Coffin that we need URGENT ACTION, that Heathrow’s Community Noise Monitoring Programme (CNMP) a program set up to understand aircraft noise in areas not currently covered by Heathrow’s permanent noise monitoring network continues to LET DOWN the residents of Stanwell Moor. That it is not fit for purpose and we must finally resolve this outstanding issue.
I have reiterated that the current noise monitor should not have been placed where it is. That any readings taken from it WILL NOT HELP our residents currently deemed to be outside of this so-called noise monitoring network.
*That it certainly doesn’t work for the Excluded 10% of residents I am campaigning for to be included in the Residential Insulation Scheme [RIS] and receive a fully-funded insulation package!
1) I have requested a (new) noise monitor be placed at a site within the heart of the village on the peripheries of these 40-year old outdated contours that are stopping homes from being insulated
as we head into Winter!.
2) An urgent meeting with Mark Izatt Deputy Chair – Council for the Independent Scrutiny of Heathrow Airport (CISHA).

2) An urgent meeting with Mark Izatt Deputy Chair – Council for the Independent Scrutiny of Heathrow Airport (CISHA).
We are at a delicate stage of the negotiations where a multitude of factors have been discussed but one where I’m sure continued hard negotiating and common-sense will prevail.
I will as always keep you all updated.
Best regards,
Jim.
Jim.
