SUCCESS: – I fought for three years as your Association Chairman and then as your Local Councillor and in 2021, I was successful in having double yellow lines installed along Horton Road and Spout Lane.

Almost overnight got rid of hundreds of vehicles and while we still have some issues mainly with parking firms trying wherever they can find a space to take advantage, it is now nothing like what we had to suffer previously.

This a big win for our village on two levels. One one hand we removed yet another blight on our community caused by Heathrow Airport and secondly we beat Surrrey County Council who were point-blank refusing to do anything about it.

While I had to appear at the Surrey County Council and Spelthorne Borough Council Joint Committee meeting and I want to thank Stanwell Moor residents who came along and packed-out the public gallery in Knowle Green ChamberI put our case to the full council, SCC put their case for refusal – AND WE WON!

While there is no-doubt we are now much safer driving on our roads and there will certainly be no going back to the picture below, some say this will be my legacy to the village but we still have other battles ahead. The legacy I want to deliver for every single resident in our community is the rightful inclusion of Stanwell Moor into the Wider Property Offer Zone [WPOZ].
