I am currently working to have Heathrow Airport accept that EVERYONE on this village is affected by (excessive aircraft noise). So I am creating this evidence page and calling on HAL to announce that ALL HOMES in Stanwell Moor will be included in its Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme (QNS).
Given I am back in negotiations with Heathrow on behalf of Stanwell Moor residents this issue that is so unfair, that has gone unresolved for too long for the sake of EVERYONE in our village must be resolved. - We are not a (can have, can't have), two-tier village!
We should NOT need to take noise readings into our own hands but this is the position we are in if we are to change something that is so evidently wrong.
We ALL KNOW every home in this village is subjected to horrendous aircraft noise but according to Heathrows Noise Prioritisation Board (SOME) are NOT IMPACTED ENOUGH!
Well here is proof from Heathrows nearest village. - It's 106db recorded at 11:16am.
YES, You are reading this correctly. These are aircraft flying directly over residents homes that Heathrow say are (excluded) from the Insulation Scheme.
The scheme is based on two newly designated insulation zones and residents would be eligible whether they experience noise under existing flight paths, or will be newly affected by noise from a new runway.
Under the proposed scheme, homes closest to the airport with higher levels of noise stand to have the full costs of their noise insulation covered by the airport.
Stanwell Moor at the end of the Southern Runway - "COULD NOT BE ANY CLOSER!"
Here is more proof recorded minutes later. - And it is 100.8db recorded at 11:26am.
I could have recorded (every flight) that roared over every 45-seconds as they do, 7-days a week, day and night, 365 days a year. However that wouldn't have been the best use of my time and would have given me a thumping migraine being out in the garden all of that time trying to record all of these aircraft.
Also I didn't think HAL would take any notice of anything in rhe 80db range.
Yet more proof, compliments of BA. - And it is 91db at 11:30am.
Heathrow are carrying out insulation scheme works on the village now, they say based on the level of noise from the overflight of aircraft. I say if they are sincere about fairness and equity and helping those most-impacted. - They need to help us NOW.
WHY? - Because Pilot 2, Zone 3 West (Stanwell Moor) has a time-window. I am asking for an urgent announcement that every home in Stanwell Moor is to be included in the Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme (QNS) and Residential Insulation Scheme [RIS]. - Before we run out of time!
The final proof from United. - Is a (whacking) 109.3db at 11:32 this morning!
I could take these readings on any day, (at any home) from 5am in Stanwell Moor village and they would show readings from 80db to over 100db.
Heathrow may say it's not a commercial sound-meter but let's not look for a way out when we can work together. This meter is accurate to within (1 to 2db + or -). The reality is we are supposed to be protected from noise levels over (55db) measured out over a period of time during the day or night to gauge an average.
Add to this HAL's own map shows Stanwell Moor included in its entirety!
CONCLUSION:
What I set out to PROVE is every home on this village is MORE THAN ELIGIBLE for Heathrows Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme (QNS). So I'm asking Heathrow to agree asap to insulate (every home) in the most airport-blighted village of all!
The truth is irrefutable, every resident in Stanwell Moor is impacted by aircraft noise that is well-in-excess of what’s allowed by Government. - The only thing Heathrow has to do is act on it!
