As I’ve been reporting for several months now the third runways is to go ahead and it is now only a matter when and you can read more as Bloomberg news agency has broken the story that Heathrow third runway is back on.
In April 24th 2024 I reported that CEO Javier Echave when asked on a BCC interview whether Heathrow’s business included wanting a third runway he said – “We are looking at that option”.
On the 5th September 2023 I referred to Heathrow Chairman, Lord Paul Deighton’s tribute to John Holland-Kaye for transforming Heathrow into a premier global transport hub and creating the development plan for Heathrow, while welcoming the appointment of Thomas Oldbye as the new CEO.
Mr Oldbye was previously the CEO of Copenhagen Airport where during his tenure he developed strong relationships with Denmark’s Government and was reponsible for expansion at Copenhagen turning it into a Northern European transport hub powerhouse.
